Role and Responsibilities:
As a SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering effective lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with diverse learning requirements.
- Differentiating instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Collaborating with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Implementing strategies to support the social and emotional well-being of students with SEND.
- Utilising innovative and creative teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Strong understanding of various SEND conditions and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
