  • Using assessment data to inform and adapt teaching strategies

  • Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, external agencies and parents/carers to ensure continuity of support

  • Supporting TAs and contributing to whole-school SEND practice

This role is based in Slough, and we are only considering candidates who can commute reliably or relocate with ease.

We welcome applications from QTS-qualified SEN Teachers with a strong understanding of special educational needs and a track record of delivering high-quality, inclusive education.

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – UK recognised

  • Passionate, reflective, and committed to continued professional development

Desirable:

  • Experience with specific interventions (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, Zones of Regulation)

  • Familiarity with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)

  • Previous experience in specialist settings (ASD bases, PRUs, resource provisions)

What the School Offers:

  • A supportive and collaborative leadership team that values teacher wellbeing

  • Access to excellent training and CPD opportunities, including SEND specialism pathways

  • A positive, inclusive ethos and a strong commitment to safeguarding and equality

  • Well-resourced classrooms and access to therapy support on-site
