🌈 The Role – Primary Teacher

As a Primary Teacher in Hertfordshire, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with additional needs, including SEND

  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and senior leaders

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers

  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies

  • Contribute to the wider school community in Hertfordshire

This Primary Teacher role in Hertfordshire offers the opportunity to teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience and preference.


✅ Qualifications Required

To be considered for this Primary Teacher position in Hertfordshire, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent)

  • Strong knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

The ideal Primary Teacher in Hertfordshire will have:

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting

  • A proven track record of raising attainment and pupil progress

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable but not essential)
