Join Our Team – Remote Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher Positions Available!

Position: SEN Teacher (Remote)

Hours: 15 hours per child, per week

Location : Hybrid but must be able to travel to bedfordshire

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as SEN Teachers for remote positions. Our mission is to provide personalised support and guidance to children with SEN, empowering them to reach their full potential.

The ideal Teacher will be allocated up to 15 hours per child, providing ample time for thorough lesson planning, assessment, and guiding the team of Teaching Assistants. Additionally, they will oversee the management of the education package, ensuring each child receives tailored support and resources to meet their specific needs. This allocation of time allows the Teacher to maintain a comprehensive approach to remote education delivery, fostering a supportive learning environment and maximising the educational outcomes for each child.

Responsibilities SEN Teacher Remote:

  • Develop and implement Educational Health Care Plans for each child
  • Prepare PPA’s, lesson plans, and objectives tailored to individual needs
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate progress and inform teaching strategies
  • Provide face-to-face support and guidance to TA’s, ensuring effective implementation of plans
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues Commit to at least 1 face-to-face session with each child per a month
  • Full-time or part-time positions available
  • Team Support: Bi-weekly virtual team meetings to guide and support Teaching Assistants (TA’s)

Requirements SEN Teacher Remote:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in SEN education
  • Must have knowledge of EOTAS
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of each child
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEN
