SENDhelp is recruiting for a welcoming school in Redfield, Bristol that is looking for a reliable, caring and confident Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.
You do not necessarily need previous Teaching Assistant experience. We would love to hear from people with transferable experience from schools, care, healthcare or support work who are passionate about supporting children and young people.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker
- Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable individuals
- A patient, resilient and positive approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with their learning and development
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
The Role
You will work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils throughout the school day, helping with learning, engagement, behaviour and individual needs. You may provide 1:1 support or work with small groups, depending on the needs of the school.
